Make a statement, take a risk, and discover your own personal style.

You don’t need to buy designer brands.

You don’t need to buy the newest fast fashion.

You don’t need a “perfect” body.

You don’t need to follow trends.

Personal style is, well, personal. It is developed through your taste and preferences and evolves over time. If you’re doing it right, it will help you realize the best version of yourself.

Some people look at thrift stores and clearance racks and see what has been discarded—things that no one else wanted. I see these places as an opportunity to find a treasure and make it mine. Because if I bought what everyone else has, then my home and wardrobe would just look like a carbon copy of everyone else.

When you look at celebrities and see their luxurious clothing, perfect bodies, lavish homes, it’s easy to think that you need money to have taste, that you need to be a certain size to look good, but you can create a beautiful life on any budget and with any body. All you need is a willingness to experiment to find what makes you feel good. Is it a bright color? A playful pattern? An unexpected material pairing? Don’t be afraid to mix and match…and mismatch!

If this philosophy resonates with you, I invite you to follow along as I share my great thrift store finds and ever-evolving plus-size vintage fashion aesthetic. I’ll even pick out some styles for you to enjoy!
